"Differences bring us together"
Osnovna Å¡kola Julija Kempfa
Primary school Julije Kempf is situated in Požega, eastern Croatia, about 180 km from our capital Zagreb. We have about 40 teachers and 620 students in 34 classes. We are taking part in this project in order to give our students and staff the opportunity to exchange their experiences with others, learn different languages, and learn about other cultures.
Our country has a high rate of unemployed young people.
We feel this project could bring great benefits to our students, who have felt the severe consequences of growing up in a country ravaged by war in the early 1990s.
